A reimagining of what the existing PS4's UI Design could look like if it was updated, and scaled to work with VR Technology.
The first step was coming up with a new system for how the tiles were handled on the home screen. Leveraging existing assets, I went and came up with a new system which would evolve as the user interacted with it. More used apps and games would get larger, and ones used less would get smaller and move away from the home screen.
Second step was figuring out how to use VR in a way which logically made sense and offered value in shortcuts instead of being a gimmick. This was done by delegating secondary screens to peripheral areas; the user would look either to the far left, right or above to find secondary menus and updates.
I did the Art Direction, UX and UI Design and the wonderful Caro Bernardini helped with animating the interactions and the VR head tracking.
Inspired by Alan Peter’s hobby of badge hunting, I went and made some badges for some of my favorite parks from my hometown in Philadelphia.
As a proof of concept, the goal of this app was to figure out how to leverage IBM Watson's data collection into a simple to understand use case. I chose to do restaurant options. Using engaging data entry and familiar user interactions, Watson is able to make some pinpoint suggestions for where the user wants to eat tonight.

The concept was that every small gesture that you abstain from doing could end up doing a large amount of good for those in need.
Reimagining US Currency for the modern age. Most Americans already use some for of debit card and online bankings, so while now have this system be integrated into how we handle currency?
The system consisted of having a digital first banking solution; all of you funds would be connected to one hub account, and additional ones (banks, credit cards) could be added to main account. You can view your account on any device, and using this web enabled service, can also send people money digitally.
As a fallback solution, there is also a physical debit card which can be used, in addition to being able to print out one-time use unique vouchers for people who don't have access to technology or prefer a hard copy for their records.
